From the Craftsmen’s City to the World

SPINGLE MOVE was born in Fuchu City,
Hiroshima Prefecture, a city full of the spirit of craftsmanship.

We considered how to succeed in meeting
the needs of this generation
by creating unique designs
which are not swayed by the trends and which are made in Japan.

In our mission to find the ultimate comfortable fit,

we researched the shape of the Japanese sole.

These technical capabilities and high quality gained attention overseas,
and in 2004 SPINGLE shoes appeared in the Paris Collection and the Milan Collection.

Due to the recognition of
SPINGLE MOVE’s quality and design
in Europe,
gradually select stores in Japan began to stock SPINGLE shoes.
In the future
we intend to continue producing
and sending out “made in JAPAN.”

SPINGLE Name Origin

“SPINGLE” is a word that we coined. The SPINGLE MOVE logo mark embodies our dream.It is our wish for the growth axis of the shoes we make to spin like a top, and continue to stretch upwards creating a spiral, and for our shoes to be loved by many people.

We combined the word ‘spin,’ which means to rotate, to the continually moving present progressive tense ‘ing,’ and further added part of the Japanese word for spinning around ‘guruguru.’
This is the origin of the name SPINGLE. (Pronounced SPINGURU in Japanese.) The local area Bingo in Hiroshima where our factory is located is full of the spirit of craftmanship, and our inclusion of ‘bingo, japan’ under the logo mark expresses our desire to become a brand which delivers from our local area to the world. We are continually spinning today to grow to become a sneaker brand loved by all.
